JellyBaby Shots

We took images of the first four shots for our opening film using jellybabys.

                                This shot is going to be a panning shot with my name as I'm the director
                  This is a shot of the two characters walking to the log. Cara Hannigan the main scary girl.
  This will also be a panning shot of the two girl characters talking on the log. It alsoshows the actors names.

                              This shows the title of the film in front of the forest with the scary girl under it.

Opening Credits

We watched two opening credits in class which were "Se7en" and "Vertigo". We made a timeline to see what was shown in both opening credits. Both films mentioned the producers, production companies, actors, editors, scriptwriter, director of photography and directors. The director is mentioned twice, once in the beginning and another at the end of the opening credits. This shows the importance the director has.

                                Here is the timeline I made for "Vertigo"

Editing

I found editing the first parts of my film hard. I'm not very good at editing so I need a lot more practising. I found editing hard because the footage that we had shot, didn't really fit in well with each other so we need more time to shoot some new footage to add it in the right places. I also found it hard to get the right blue tint that I wanted, like in the Twilight film, that didn't really work out. Overall, I think that with editing I just need more practise with getting used to all the tools and I should be fine with it.

Two more ways I would market my film

I've decided I would like my distributor to market my film in two more ways. This includes;
A website and merchandise.

I would want a website for my film because most
people spend their time online and I think it would be good for my film to be out there easy for people to know more about it. Websites are good because you can find more information about the film and what it's about and it's a good because people can download wallpapers, screen savers, icons, play games and watch behind the scene's footage. Also when the film comes out on DVD, people would be able to go on the website and pre-order it.

I would also want my distributor to market merchandise for my film. I think merchandise is a good way to get people to go and want to see my film because by having a person buy a shirt or a mug, it'll get other peoples attention and then they'll might want to find out what this film is about and might end up watching the film.
